Hi, my name is Doug. I've been playing tennis for over 30yrs and enjoy teaching the game. I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. I played the #1 seed for my tennis high school team and won the doubles championship for my high school team. I also played a little in college and qualified to compete in the state tournaments. I will be PTR certified (https://ptrtennis.org) within the next couple weeks which will supplement my current coaching abilities. This certification teaches the foundation for learning tennis and develops the essential coaching fundamentals for a successful player. I realized I really enjoy teaching this sport after introducing my 7yr old daughter to the game. Sometimes it's a challenge to keep her engaged so I try to make it fun for her while having her learn. This is what incorporate into lessons I teach. As an option, I can bring her along if it will make the sessions more enjoyable for students around her age.

Where will the lessons take place?
Your coach will come to any court of your choice. Not sure of the closest court? No sweat, they will recommend a convenient location. -

Absolutely! Our certified instructors regularly work with players of all ages and ability levels. -
