“Formerly educated as a classroom teacher in the discipline of social studies, I encourage the development of solid basic skills and techniques. If those are not present, it is unlikely that the student will progress to a higher level.
I encourage the player through positive reinforcement and that with the learning and mastering of skills, there are some bumps in the road.
Once a skill has been learned and a basic drill is accomplished, I challenge the student in a drill environment either with placement of the shot, the feed given to the student (pace & height), or maintaining a rally with me and winning the point.“
