Reno is the largest city in Northern Nevada nestled on the slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and on the coast of the spectacular Lake Tahoe. You won’t need a postcard to tell you that the weather is beautiful. Known as “The Biggest Little City in the World,” Reno, NV is the certainly one of the biggest cities for tennis lovers. The Reno Tennis Center is practically in the city square!
Sixteen hard courts are available to players of all levels and, thanks to the temperate weather, courts are open year round! Four courts are lit, which makes pick up evening games a possibility for especially energetic players. The Center offers leagues and tournaments year round and is the perfect place to dip your toes into the world of competitive tennis. Make sure to take some tennis lessons in Reno, NV with a PlayYourCourt coach to get your skills up to snuff before you enter though!
If you’re looking for something a little more private, the Caughlin Athletic Club Tennis Center is in one of the most desired communities in Reno. Featuring 9 well-lit courts you can practice with the Ace Attack Tennis Ball machine. The machine head raises to serving height and can deliver right or left hand serves, plus second serves with authentic kicks. It can serve you ground strokes too including collets, forehands, backhands and lobs - not bad for a machine (but not as good as a PlayYourCourt coach!). Join a USTA League or get your heart rate up with with some Cardio Tennis classes through the club as well.
